Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake

Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake — made with 1 lb ground beef, 1 small yellow onion, diced, 0.5 tsp salt, 0.25 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, optional, 2 tbsp ketchup, and more.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Drain excess grease.
  5. Stir ketchup and mustard into the beef mixture. Remove from heat.
  6. Gently fold the quartered biscuit pieces into the beef mixture until just combined. (Don’t overmix.)
  7. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the top.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let sit for 5 minutes, then top with chopped pickles if desired and serve warm.
