Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake

Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake — made with 1 lb ground beef, 1 small yellow onion, diced, 0.5 tsp salt, 0.25 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, optional, 2 tbsp ketchup, and more.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder, optional
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
- 1.5-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Drain excess grease.
- Stir ketchup and mustard into the beef mixture. Remove from heat.
- Gently fold the quartered biscuit pieces into the beef mixture until just combined. (Don’t overmix.)
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let sit for 5 minutes, then top with chopped pickles if desired and serve warm.
