Classic Red Kidney Beans and Rice- Goya Recipe — made with 2 Onions, chopped, 2 Bell peppers, chopped, 3 tsp Granulated Garlic, 4 Cans Goya Red Kidney Beans, 15.5 oz, undrained, 4 tbsp Canola Oil (Wesson), 1 can Tomato Sauce, 15.5 oz, and more.
Ingredients
- 2 Onions, chopped
- 2 Bell peppers, chopped
- 3 tsp Granulated Garlic
- 4 Cans Goya Red Kidney Beans, 15.5 oz, undrained
- 4 tbsp Canola Oil (Wesson)
- 1 can Tomato Sauce, 15.5 oz
- 1.5 cup Broth
- 1 tsp Diamond Crystal Salt Sense Real Iodized Salt
- .5 tsp Oregano, ground
- 1 Ham Steak, cubed
Instructions
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions, peppers and garlic; cook 10 mins.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins.
- Serve over hot brown/white rice. Can also be served with potatoes or quinoa.
